FAQ'S

 NEWBORN SESSION DETAILS: 
Booking after your 20 week scan ensures a spot on my calendar. Although, I do take last minute requests when able. I book a limited number of newborn sessions a month to ensure a high quality of customer service. 

ARE PARENT & SIBLING PORTRAITS INCLUDED?
Yes, I highly encourage everyone to be in the photos. It is part of my brand to include laid-back lifestyle portraits of the entire family. 

HOW OLD SHOULD MY NEWBORN BE?
I book newborn sessions within the first 28 days after birth, as long as everyone is healthy and able. I do acccept older newbors as well.

WHAT DAYS OF THE WEEK? 
Newborn sessions are taken Monday-Friday at 10:00 a.m. in my Albany, Texas studio or the comfort of your home.  Newborn sessions can be taken outdoors as long as the weather permits.

HOW LONG DO NEWBORN SESSIONS LAST?
Newborn sessions are my longest sessions. They can last up to three hours, it varies from baby to baby. I keep refreshments on hand in the studio if needed. 

DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING TO MY SESSION? 
No, I have everything for baby in my studio as well as a collection of beautiful dresses for moms, if you choose to wear them. I suggest everyone wearing neutrals such as white, cream, tans and beige to the session for family portraits. 

DO YOU GUARANTEE POSES?
No, I do not guarantee poses as babies are unpredictable. What is easy for one baby may not be easy for the next. I do my best to make it through my workflow but if they are uncomfortable or upset, I move to the next. 

DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT? 
Yes, I require a $200 retainer fee upon booking, the remaining balance is due the day of your newborn session.
